One Big Idea Can Change Your Life — Rocky and Stallone
If you have the guts and brains to take one idea that you have and make it real… what can happen to you?
Here’s a quote from Sly Stallone about ROCKY — from an article in Ain’t It Cool News:
When asked to comment on the success and impact of the ROCKY films, Stallone said:
SS: Please don’t think I’m just saying this, but I am in total, constant awe. I’ll wake up in the morning, the fog is still outside, and I cannot believe this house, my life, my children, everything I have I owe to this humble character. I don’t know where it came from; it just came up one day. I was just writing about my insecurities, and I put them in the body of a boxer. I never knew. I was so depressed, my career was going down. And I said, “If I could just do one more thing, and end the ROCKY series with dignity.” ROCKY V, I blew it—big mistake. I take all blame for it. But I said, if I could just do that one thing. And it took seven years, and it was really tough to make a sequel to a failed film 18 years later playing a 60-year-old fighter. Talk about a tough sell, that’s a tough sell. But it wasn’t about playing it; it was about gracefully going on to the last portion of your life.
Can you imagine how life would be different if you just had one idea like Rocky?

Now Anyone Can Go to Yale
Here is a video of Game Theory — a class given at Yale University. If you have ever thought that it would be awesome to go to Yale, one of the top universities in the world, then technology has given you a gift!
You can essentially “take” any of several classes by watching the recordings online and also having access to all of the course materials. You can watch on YouTube or through iTunes.
I am amazed at what is available for free online. The democratization of information is here and is a tidal wave that has already hit. Now is the time to live an intense life and leave your mark.
